How Do You Make A Ragdoll Wig?
Do you want to be Raggedy Ann or Raggedy Andy? Do you like yarn wigs? Are you a Ragdoll for Halloween? Here’s how to make a wig with little trouble, or supplies! • Grab your supplies (listed below) and lie them out so they are all accessible at any time. • Prepare your cap on the ball/head. • Cut your yarn in generous lengths, ranging from 1ft. to 2ft., or if you prefer a short wig for a male- 6 to 10 inches. • After yarn is cut, take ONE peice of yarn, tie a knot on both ends, and set it aside. This will be your control, or a length example. • Open fabric glue, and make a small, thick line of glue on the part of the head that applies to wig model in “tips” section. You can make it circle the head, or, for a split-color wig, make the line halfway around the head. • Apply the yarn peices side-by-side until glued area is covered completely. • If on top, flip yarn to other side of head, or tie up. • Repeat steps 5-7, about an inch down from last line.
