How Do You Make A Quick Greek Goddess Costume?
It’s the week– or even a day– before Halloween and you have no clue what you’re going to be. This Greek Goddess costume is not only easy to make and requires no sewing, it looks like it took you ages to complete! • Go to your local fabric store and find some good fabric in either white or deep purple. In Ancient Greece, white was what everybody generally wore. However, only royals got to wear deep purple. Choose a color that you like. • Measure the fabric length from your shoulder to the floor. • Double this length, so there will be a panel of fabric in the front and back. • Generally, fabrics are 45-54 inches wide. If you think this will be too wide for you, you can cut it down. But be careful with this — even though you don’t want your costume to sag on you, you don’t want it to squeeze you to death! • While you are at the fabric store, find some nice gold cording for a belt.
