How Do You Make A Quick Easy Re-Hydrating Snack?
Learn how to prepare a healthy quick re-hydrating snack that is easy to pack up to take for a hike or lunch in the car, or before going in to shop for groceries. Carefully slice the end piece of the celery stalk off, and separate stalks. Check leafy area of celery and remove any discolored or browning ends, but try to keep as much of the fresh leaves on the stalks as possible. Open up your favorite jar of peanut butter, and if the oil has separated and gone up to the top, stir all the peanut butter up again, until the oil is redistributed evenly. Apply the peanut butter into the cup of the celery stalk the whole length. Fill all the stalks. If you want to you can slice them so they are even in length. After filling the celery stalks with the peanut butter, layer in a few raisins on top. These are sturdy and easy to travel with if you want to then wrap them in aluminum foil, and a plastic bag to put in your back pack or lunch sack.
