How Do You Make A Quick Duvet?
Holiday sheets are on sale! Why not amke a quick and easy and fun Duvet to keep you warm or a friend warm this deep cold winter? Duvets are expensive but with these holiday and seasonal sheets on sale it becomes cheap to amake and wonderful to give and get. The duvet that I am making is made from Goodwill sheet sets. They were on sale for 1.50 a full size flat sheet. So I got 2 that work well together. Then I bought some inexpensive Cluster fill at Walmart. I prefer Soft Touch Polyfill as its acts more like Down and is better at washing. But this did not cost that much and I will post the picture when I am done. Lay out sheets on the floor, with printed sides together. If using plain sheets make sure the edge where you can see the fold is up. Pin and sew along three sides. Turn rightside out and sew a top stitch all around three edges again. Now pin three to four long channels from open top to bottom. Using big handfuls stuff the channel at he bottom.
