How Do You Make A Quick And Easy, Country Style Blackberry Cobbler?

This is a simple and easy to make recipe. If you like country style cooking then you will love this…. My 94 year old grandmother gave me this recipe when I went to visit her in West Virginia. It is one that I remember eating when I was growing up… First things first… Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Make the batter first. In a bowl add 1-1/2 cups of the sugar. 1-1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1-1/4 cups of milk. In a pan melt 1 stick of butter and then pour that into the 9×15 pan. Add to the butter the blackberries and also 1/2 cup of sugar. (you can mix that up a little bit) Take the batter mixture and pour over the berries in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar to make an even sweeter crust. Bake for 35 minutes or until crust is golden and bubbly.
