Fold the cloth swatch in half. Thread the needle and sew two of the sides to form a bag, leaving one side open. Flip the bag inside out so the sewn edges are inside the bag. Fill the bag with batting, then with dried rose petals, dried jasmine, dried poppy leaves, dried St. John’s wort, dried mistletoe leaves, whole rose hips and mandrake pieces. These ingredients are commonly associated with prophecy and sleep. Sew the sachet closed or tie up the opening with purple string. Sleep with the sachet under your pillow.
