How Do You Make A Prickly Pear Desperado Drink?
Prickly Pear Despêrado Recipe: You may have heard of the Prickly Pear Margarita. This is another drink made from the super-fruit of the prickly pear cactus. First of all, you may be wondering what exactly is a Despêrado? Great question! It’s basically a margarita with the addition of mexican beer. Note: Not all beers work, so we recommend Modelo Especial® or Tecate® Beer. The Despêrado was initially created as guys drink, with tequila and beer, but over time have found that women love it, too. This prickly pear drink mixer is great for adding color and flavor to martini & margarita cocktails, saké, non-alcoholic or hard lemonade and more. The redish-purple prickly pear fruit is high in antioxidants & Vitamin C. In a cocktail shaker with ice, add first four ingredients: • 2oz Premium silver/blanco tequila, • 1 1/2oz Fresh squeezed lime juice • 1oz Pêra Prickly Pear Drink Mixer • 1/2oz Organic agave nectar.
