It’s easy to achieve with the right materials and a little patience. Follow these steps to make a poseable scarecrow that your kids, and you, will love. Draw your own scarecrow or print out a template. If drawing your own scarecrow, then draw the head, upper arms and legs, lower arms and legs, torso, hands and feet separately. Draw the hands as if they were wearing gloves. Use simple shapes and curve the ends of the different parts. Add an additional semicircle under the head so that you can attach it to the body. Give the hair a straw-like texture and draw straw coming out of the bottom of the shirt and the shirt sleeves. Draw dots at the end of each body part to indicate where it will attach to another part.
