How Do You Make A Poinsettia Pop-Up Card?
Poinsettia pop-ups add a festive touch to your holiday greeting cards. You can create your own poinsettia, use a photo from a magazine or a printout of a poinsettia for this project. Attach it to your card with an accordion-folded card stock to create the pop-up action. Step 1 Start with the basic greeting card. Use a sheet of card stock folded in half and design the outside of your card. If you use a poinsettia design on the outside, use the same design for the pop-up on the inside. Step 2 Cut a separate piece of card stock that’s long and thin. Fold it accordion-style by bending it back and forth over itself. If you use green card stock, the accordion fold can make the stem of your poinsettia. Step 3 Glue or staple one end of the accordion card stock to the inside the pop-up card.
