Use the tips below to make this clever container. Measure the dimensions of your small plastic case including the inside depth of the lid. Pull five or six pages of paper from the drawing pad and cut the paper to the size of your measurements using your paper cutter or scissors. Stack and clip the smaller pages together with a black binder clip. Set aside your miniature drawing “pad.” Choose the drawing pencils that you would like to include in your kit. Using the length measurements of your case, cut the pencils with your saw. When you cut each pencil, label both “ends” of the two halves with the type of pencil lead using a black dot or number system. Set aside your miniature pencils.
