How Do You Make A Planter Box For Kids?
Kids of all ages can get involved in planting this year and making their very own planter box. These are great for gift giving as well as for the kids to keep for themselves. Start by cutting off the top part of the milk carton all away around. An adult should do this part, especially when using sharp scissors. Let the kids wash out the milk carton. Allow it to air dry completely. Measure the carton and cut the paper to that size. Fold it to fit all the way around the carton and crease the edges for a clean look, then remove the paper. Let the kids spread glue all over the outside of the milk carton and reapply the paper. Allow glue to dry. Let the kids decorate and personalize the planter box any way they choose with crayons, markers or stickers. The possibilities are endless here. Add soil and plant your favorite flowers into your newly constructed planter box! You can place a few rocks on the bottom to help with water drainage.
