Your pirate ship will include much of what a normal pirate ship has, such as a mast, canons, sails and a skull-and-crossbones flag. This article provides step-by-step information about how to construct a small pirate ship for entertainment purposes. Step 1 Purchase a large, long cardboard box for the body of your pirate ship. Draw the outline of a ship on the side of the box. For accuracy’s sake, get a drawing or picture of a pirate ship to use as a guide. Copy the same drawing onto the other side of the box.
