Your jewelry adds a beautiful finishing touch to your wardrobe; why hide such fabulous pieces away in a drawer or box? Display your necklaces in all their glory like a fun and funky piece of art! Choose a picture frame that suits your decor and volume of necklaces (for my project, I chose a 16×20 frame). Remove the back and glass, keeping the glass close by. Ensure the frame has hanging brackets attached to the border. Using an x-acto knife, cut a piece of foam core board to fit the frame. To get an accurate size, lay the removed glass directly on top of the board and cut around it. Test to make sure the board fits snugly inside the frame and trim sides if necessary. Optional step: If you will be hanging large, heavy necklaces from the frame, I recommend adding a layer or two of cork board for additional strength. This can be bought in a roll at craft stores.
