Watercolor Reproduction can be achieved using any Adobe Photoshop Program. This article is geared to Photoshop 7, so the menu names may differ depending on the version used. Find a Photo you wish to reproduce into a Watercolor painting, and save it to your Hard Drive. Open the saved Picture with Photoshop. Choose your Background layer, and right click it. Click the Duplicate Layer option. Open up the Filter Menu and choose: Filter -> Artistic -> Dry Brush Use the Following settings: Brush Type – Dry Brush Brush Detail – 6 Texture – 2 Press ctrl+L to bring up the Hue Level menu. Change the settings to the following: Channel – RGB Input Levels – 0 1.61 255 Output Levels – 0 255 Select your “Background Copy” layer, and duplicate it.
