How Do You Make A Penguin Costume?
If you want a realistic penguin costume, you should consider purchasing a pattern from an arts and crafts store that will provide the makings for a good penguin costume. Penguins are typically fat with short legs for their webbed feet.
Penguin Pants
If your goal is simply to make a penguin costume that is easy to make, then your best bet is to use Disney-inspired penguins design.

A shiny black hooded coat is a good selection for the top, so that you can create the illusionn of having a penguin head. You’ll need a shiny black coat with either extra long sleeves or extra matching cloth for the sleeves. Extend the arm cuffs to at least 9 inches beyond your middle finger and then fold the sleeve to create a triangle. Stich it shut to create the wings of the penguin.
A felt cloth in dark orange can work as the beak. Cut two triangles and tie thin layers of elastic to the corners to tie around your head. If the felt does not shape well. sew a popsicle stick into the top middle and bottom middle to force the beak to stay straight.
Accessories
The feet can be simple black scoks with sandles or shoes with felt flippers attached on top. A black or red bow tie will help to add the finishing touch for a recognizable penguin costume.

- Shiny black top hat

- Black umbrella with pointed tip
