How Do You Make A Pen Gun?
If you want to kill some down time while you’re sitting in your cubicle, you can conduct some harmless target practice. Make a pen gun with a trigger using several springs from pens and a paper clip. Remove the insides from the pen and set the pieces to one side. Remove the springs from two pens. Straighten a paper clip. Make a small loop on one end of the clip that is about the diameter of the inside of a pen spring. Make sure that the loop fits inside the pen. Slide 2 or 3 springs onto the clip at the straight end so that they stop on the looped end of the paper clip. Insert the straightened paper clip into the tube of the pen so that the unlooped end sticks out of the barrel that normally holds the point of the pen. Check that there is no tension in the springs while they are inside the pen. Prevent the springs from falling off the end of the paper clip by bending the unlooped end to a 90-degree, L-shaped angle.
