How Do You Make A Paracord Knife Handle?
A practical way to keep paracord available for emergencies is to wrap a knife handle with paracord. Paracord will work on a bare metal handle or any typical knife handle. Paracord, or parachute cord, can be commonly found at most Army/Navy stores and is available in many different colors. There are several different ways to wrap a knife handle with parachute cord–this method is easy and works well. A properly wrapped handle will provide a secure grip wet or dry. This technique will work not only on knives, but with just about any tool that has a handle. Start with at least a 12 foot section of paracord. Use a small piece of tape to affix the paracord to the bottom of the handle. Use enough paracord so that about 12 inches of paracord hangs past the butt of the handle. See Illustration Step 1.
