How Do You Make A Paper Sled Kite?

Kite flying can be fun on a breezy day. It is also a great way to get your family outside and exercising. Next time you find yourself thinking that it is a perfect day to fly a kite, make a paper sled kite and then go fly it! Fold the sheet of paper in half and cut off both of the corners on the open side. Don’t cut the folded side. Your 2 cuts should meet at a point on the open side that is higher than the middle so you will have the lopsided diamond shape that is common in kites. Take the top wing and fold it towards the folded side so the point of the triangle just meets the fold in the middle of the kite. Then turn the paper over and fold the other wing the same way. Open the kite up and put cellophane tape over each wing tip. You can also use packing tape. The larger the area you cover with the tape, the sturdier the wings will be. Using a hole punch, make a hole in each wing tip approximately 2 inches in from both sides. Attach a stick along the underside of each of the wings usi
