How Do You Make A Paper Scroll?
Scrolls are a part of our history. Parchment was used as paper, and instead of keeping sheets in binders or folders, they were rolled up. Voila, scrolls were made! Making your own scroll is fun and is a craft that can be done cheaply. All you need is some patience, coffee, paper, and chopsticks, along with some tape, or an optional quill pen. Read along! • Take your paper. Dip it in coffee so that it is completely covered on both sides. Carefully carry the paper to a place where you can set it outside, but it won’t blow away/be stolen. Make sure the paper is in the sun. • Coffee-blotted paper Wait for an hour, then return and grab your paper. Bring it back in to where you want to make the scroll. • Writing on the scroll Quill and Ink If you wish to write on your scroll, now is the time to do it.
