How Do You Make A Paper Ribbon Christmas Tree?
Craft a lovely accent piece for your home or to give as gift. Easy to find materials, that can be put together in just a few hours. Cut dark green twisted ribbon into 1 yard pieces and untwist. Cut into 3 inch pieces. Fold each piece in half and gather cut ends together. Wire to a floral pick. This makes a 1-1/2 inch loop. Make 75 of these loops When loops are done, begin inserting them by rows at the bottom of the cone. Continue forming rows of these loops, overlapping layers. (The first row will need 8 loops.) As you near the top of the tree, insert floral picks at an angle toward the bottom of the cone. To make the top of the tree, insert 2 loops with picks toward the bottom of cone and squeeze together. Glue the ends of 2 pieces of natural raffia under the loops on top of the tree and continue to wrap around as garlands. Glue in a few places to secure. Glue small bunches of baby’s breath and German statice evenly around tree. Spray with silver spray glitter.
