Using an old blender, colander and construction paper, you can make a beautiful and unusual paper pulp painting. Because it is free-form, artistic talent is not required, just an eye for attractive color and design. Children can also try their hand at this craft, with adult supervision of course. Follow these simple instructions and get started on your masterpiece. Assemble the drying frame before you begin the paper pulp painting. Staple a piece of fiberglass window screen to a wooden picture frame. Use a frame you already have or purchase an inexpensive new one. Set aside. Tear different colors of construction paper into small pieces and place in separate disposable plastic containers–clean sour cream or butter containers are ideal.
