How Do You Make A Paper Plate Turkey?
Paper plate turkeys make great decorations for Thanksgiving. They can be made into magnets for the fridge or hung up and displayed around your home. Your children will have a blast making these fun crafts, and will be proud to take part in decorating for the holiday. With a few basic materials and a couple of minutes you can make a paper plate turkey of your own. Place your paper plate face down on your work surface. The front of your turkey will end up being the back of the paper plate. Cut a long oval shape out of brown construction paper. This will serve as the turkey’s head and neck. If you want to be more detailed or creative, you can also try making a bowling pin figure or other complex shape for the head and neck. Glue the head and neck of your turkey onto the paper plate. It should be centered in the middle of the plate, but glued towards the top with the head sticking up over the top of the plate. Attach the two wiggly craft eyes to the face of the turkey.
