How Do You Make A Paper Kite?
If it is a nice windy day, and you find yourself in need of a kite, you can make one out of a piece of paper, string and ribbon. This is a fun project that the whole family can take part in and enjoy. Lay a piece of regular-sized paper in front of you so that the width of the paper is facing you. Bring the top edge of the paper down toward you to fold it in half. Fold the paper again back about three quarters of the way from the top edge and half way though the page at the bottom edge so you are folding the paper at an angle. Crease the fold, and unfold the paper. Fold back one side of the paper along the crease, and tape along the fold. Attach a small dowel rod or skewer across the top of the point from the furthest top left corner of the folded paper to the top right corner. Tape this on the paper securely. Tape one end of an 8-foot plastic ribbon to the bottom of the kite at the crease. Turn the piece of paper over on the back side. Fold the front back along the crease as you did th
