How Do You Make A Paper Hand Print Christmas Wreath?

0

Paper handprint wreaths are an excellent craft project for school groups, scout troops or families. They can be made by children to take home, or by families who wish to decorate an interior door with a welcome wreath festooned with all of their individual handprints. You don’t have to restrict yourself to the standard green wreath with a red paper bow. Start with the simple pattern below and add your own colors and embellishments. Trace your hand on lightweight cardboard to make a template, or directly on to your project paper of choice. Cut it out. (Teachers: For a single child’s project, you will need about 10 hand cutouts per child.) Use templates to trace on your paper of choice. Cut out the hand shapes. Pile them together. Place the hand cutouts in a circle to be sure you have enough for the size of wreath you want. Starting at the sides, glue the wrist area to the cardboard ring, layering hands one by one around the circular shape. The fingers will meet at the top of the wreath
