How Do You Make A Paper Elf Hat?
An elf hat is a tall conical hat worn by certain small mythological beings. The elf hat is typically soft, and falls over to one side–the point reaching almost back down to the brim of the hat. The brim itself is usually upturned and can be shaped like a crown. An elf hat is usually made of cloth, but you can make one out of newspaper. Take the top left-hand corner of a sheet of newspaper and fold it toward the bottom right of the sheet. You will form a triangle with a rectangular section left over at the bottom. Cut off the rectangular section. Open the triangular sheet of newspaper and wrap the bottom of it around the top of the hat wearer’s head. You will form a rough cone.
