How Do You Make A Paper Chef Hat?
Your child can easily make a chef’s toque to wear the next time that he helps you in the kitchen. With this hat on, you child will feel like a real chef. The best part about this craft is that the items required to make it are most likely lying around your house. Step 1 Tape 3 of the sheets of legal paper end to end so that you have a long sheet measuring 8 1/2 by 40 inches. Step 2 Fold this paper along its 40-inch length in an accordion fold. The pleats should be about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch wide, but they can be wider or narrower if desired. Step 3 Tape the 2 remaining legal sheets of paper together, end to end. You should have a long sheet measuring 8 1/2 by 27 inches. Step 4 Fold up the bottom 1 1/2 inch along the length of this sheet. You will now have a 7-by-27-inch piece of paper.
