Although I use Adobe InDesign which is about 1 million times better than MS Publisher – sorry fir ball. You need to set your new file up to be an 8 page spread with facing pages. which will give you a front and back cover with 6 pages inbetween which will be impossed prior to going to the printer as an 8 page PDF. Set it up as landscape A5 ( A5 is half of an A4) with 2 columns per page. In order to figure out your page numbering take two pages of A for paper and place them to gether and fold in half then in half again – this will give you the paginiation of an 8 page booklet – now number each page from 1 to 8. Now transfer that numbering onto your MS Publisher layout.
