How Do You Make A Newsboy Hat?
Newsboy hats have become increasingly popular among both children and adults. They can be made from many different mediums. If you’d rather have the more traditional fabric look in a newsboy hat, it is not overly difficult to choose a fabric and make your own hat. Draw a triangle shape to make the cap body pattern. The bottom of the triangle should measure 3.625 inches, and the height of the triangle should measure 7 inches. Add a 1/2 inch seam allowance to the shape you just drew. Follow the dotted line outline as it appears on the diagram. Label this “Cap Body” and cut this pattern piece out. Draw a shape for the cap brim. The base of this shape should measure 2 inches, and from the right corner to the top corner should measure 6.5 inches. Follow the diagram to create the shape.
