How Do You Make A New Years Noisemaker?
Kids love noisemakers. Make these noisemakers with your kids so they can use them on New Year’s Eve, whether they will be staying up until midnight or not. The following directions will show you two ways to construct these noisemakers. Measure out a total of ΒΌ cup of a mixture of dried beans, rice and macaroni. Pour the beans, rice and macaroni into one clear or colored plastic cup. Place another plastic cup of the same size and shape onto the first cup so that the rims are together. Tape the rims of the cups together very securely. Shake your new noisemaker on New Year’s Eve until those around you beg you to stop. Decorate colored paper with markers, crayons and stickers, which will be the covering for your noisemaker. Glue your decorated paper around the soda can, completely covering it. Place a small piece of tape at the seam if you need to in order to keep it closed. Allow glue to dry thoroughly per the glue’s packaging instructions. Place a handful of sunflower seeds into the can.
