How Do You Make A Mothers Beaded Bracelet?
A mother’s beaded bracelet is usually made with personalized beads spelling out the mother’s name or the names of her children. Although these bracelets can be specially made, you can also make them at home. This project takes a little bit of time and energy but in the end you will have a gift that you can be proud of. Determine your wrist size. Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist (or the person you are making the bracelet for). If you are unsure of the wrist size, 6 1/2 inches will fit most small- to medium-size wrists. Cut your wire at least 2 1/2 inches longer then the wrist. (Nylon coated wire can be purchased at several craft stores). Tape one end of the wire down on a flat surface. Place your beads on a strip of tape. Arrange them in the order they will go on the bracelet. (The tape will hold them in place and allow you to determine the order before stringing them on the wire).
