• Empty all of the salt from the carton. Make sure that there is no salt at the bottom of your carton. • Take the label off carefully, so it comes off in one piece. • Use a knife to cut through the glue holding the top of the carton in place. • Set the carton aside. • Cut the wire on the headphones to about 1 foot from the jack. Strip the wire. • Solder green wire to negative contact, and gold and red to positive contact of speaker. • Use a number 6 drill bit to make a hole about 1.5 mm from the right side in inside of the dock adapter, where the iPod fits in. • Put the audio plug through this hole so that, when you stick your iPod in the plug, it will be inserted into to the iPod’s audio jack. • Use some scissors to cut a circle that will fit inside the top of the carton to reinforce it.( make sure spout is either removed or is in open position) • Cut a rectangle in the top of the carton that is barely smaller than the rim of the dock adapter • Glue the wired speaker to the bottom of
