This is a Southern recipe for Moravian Chicken Pie. This delicious pie is easy to make and can be frozen to cook at a later time. When making any kind of chicken pies always use dark and white meat. It makes a more flavorful pie. I usually cook a whole chicken when I make these pies because I always freeze a couple. Boil Chicken until its is done and falls off the bone. Allow to cool, remove bones and cut into small pieces. Set to the side. Using one of the pie crust cover the bottom and sides of your 9″ pie plate. Place chicken in the bottom of pie plate, sprinkle with flour, salt, and pepper. Place dots of the butter over the pie. Pour rich chicken broth over the pie. Cover the pie with remaining pie dough. Seal edges of piecrust together to form a pretty outer edge. Add a few slits in the pie to allow the steam to escape. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 45 minutes to an hour.
