Making a Moist & Xtra Tasty 7UP Lb. Cake Butter & eggs should be at room temperature before using. Add together flour, butter buds & salt, set aside. Cream together shortening, butter and slowly add sugar til fluffy, set aside. Separate eggs and beat whites til stiff, set aside. Add egg yolks slowly into shortening, butter, & sugar. Slowly add in flour mixture alternating with small amounts of 7UP at a time. Add egg whites in slowly. Lastly add in extracts. Prepare pan for baking by greasing pan with Butter Flavored Crisco & dusting with flour. Use a nice deep Bundt pan. Bake @ 350 for approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hrs, depends on oven. Start checking for doneness after 1 hr. Invert and cool. Add drizzle. Lemon Drizzle…Melt 2 Tablesp. butter, add in 3-4 teasp. lemon juice & 1 c. of powdered sugar. Mix well, let cool and drizzle over cooled cake. The drizzle will run into hole, spoon out and add over entire cake.
