Whether a model house made from craft sticks is used for a child’s school project or as a rainy day craft, the process of building one is easy and uses commonly found materials. Once completed, the house can be decorated in any way the child wants. Place a craft stick vertically on the wax paper. Place a line of craft sticks horizontally next to the first craft stick until you have a flat plane of sticks that’s as tall as the first stick. This will form the body of the first wall. Tape the stacked horizontal sticks together. Use two strips of tape about an inch from the ends of the sticks. Apply a layer of glue to a single side of a craft stick and glue the stick vertically atop the edge of the taped sticks. Press firmly to make sure that all of the sticks in the wall have been glued to the new stick.
