How Do You Make A Mirrored Wall Hanging?
If you want to make a room look bigger, add a mirror. That’s an old saying. While that statement is still true, there are many ways of adding the mirrored look to a wall or room. From mirrored mosaics to wall hangings, there are many possibilities. Here is a fast, easy and inexpensive way to add a mirrored wall hanging to your decor. Cut plywood squares to measure 2 inches larger than your mirrored tiles on all sides. This will give you a 2 inch border around your tile once in place. Paint the boards, front and back, with the high gloss black paint. Let the first coat dry and add another. For a finishing touch, add acrylic sealer. Let dry overnight. Drill 1 hole in the upper 2 corners of plywood. This will give you a place to string the ribbon used for hanging your tiles. Mix the epoxy. Once mixed according to directions, apply epoxy directly to the back of the mirrored tiles. Place immediately on the wood panel and center it as desired.
