One way to section a room or large space is with a portable divider. You can create your own divider and decorate it as you like with fabric, painting techniques or mirror tiles. Dividers typically have three sections which you can custom size for your particular requirements. You can complete this simple craft project quickly with a few tools and materials. Step 1 Stain the decorative trim, the feet knobs and the perimeter of each wood panel. Lightly sand the surface of your wood panels to remove any splinters. Wipe the entire surface with a damp cloth to remove the sanding debris. Step 2 Lay the panels side by side on a flat surface.
