How Do You Make A Mini Golf Course?
• Buy golf balls of odd colours like blue, red, yellow. Anything but not green!! (The ball has to be visible, if you’re wondering why.) • If you can’t afford golf balls, ping pong balls of reasonable durability will do. Just don’t hit them too hard! • Try getting simple clubs. Or try making your own. The basic idea: get a hard lid or whatever you scavenge to be permanently joined to the end of a stick. Ways to do this are: Good old super glue, a woodshop expert or duct tape of reasonable stickiness, using a soldering gun to stick it together. • Find a garden with enough lawns to make a mini golf course. • Designate a tee-off point and a hole. • Make obstacles, use Lego to build towers and stuff. Cardboard bridges are easy to make too. • Use a 1.5 volt motor to rotate a mill. You can even make a lift that propels the ball towards the hole with the motor. • Make ultra narrow bridges as the holes progress. Try making a 4-hole course before you start your dream project of 18 holes.
