How Do You Make A Microphone Stand?
An extremely important piece of equipment for any serious singer or music group is a microphone stand. Whether you are playing live on stage at the local hot spots or recording your very own indie record in your bathroom, a microphone stand is a must. These stands allow you to be hands free, which enables you to play an instrument while singing, or it will allow you to be more free to create on stage theatrics (think Axl Rose) to entertain your crowd. Step 1 Cut two pieces of 8′ PVC pipe into smaller pieces. You will need to have six 6″ PVC pipes and one piece that is roughly 60 inches. You can make the long piece longer or shorter depending on the person who is using the mic stand. Step 2 Begin building the base of your PVC microphone stand.
