The memory game is one of the best games to play in your primary classroom. Many different versions are available for purchase, but I like to create my own games to supplement the store-bought kind. I also look for near indestructible material to use, which is why golf balls are perfect. Follow the steps below to create a game that the kids will love-and will last forever. Be sure to buy the correct balls. You want balls that are both cheap and able to be cut. I went through several different brands before I found the ones that work best. Buy either Noodle Ice or Precept balls. They also come in multicolor packets, which are great. Place each ball in a vice and slice right through it with a table saw to cut in half. Keep the saw moving through the ball or else the heat of the blade will melt the rubber middle. Write on the bottoms with black pen.
