Masai bracelets are colorful, pretty, and very easy to make. You can use any colorful glass beads you already own, or go shopping for new beads. This is the perfect accessory for the fall 2009 season. African beads will look fabulous in this bracelet. Take one piece of wire and with the pliers, create one loop at one end. Secure the loop so that the wire does not catch on anything while you are working with it. Gently twist the looped end of the wire around the base of the wire several times so the loop stays in place. Start stringing the beads onto the first wire. At 1/3 of the way on the wire, about 2 3/8″, thread on one of the silver spacers. These spacers will hold the wires in place once the bracelet is finished. Continue threading beads onto the wire until you come to 2/3 of the way down, or another 2 3/8″ on the wire, then thread on the second spacer. Finish threading the beads on the wire.
