Marble solitaire is a board game which requires a player to use strategy to remove a set marbles from a board by jumping them with another marble on the board. While this seems an easy task at first, removing every marble is a difficult, but fun, task to achieve. Draw a plus sign on the wood, with each arm of the cross being four inches long and four inches wide. This will make your cross one foot tall and one foot wide in total. Make nine small marks on each arm of the cross in the form of a 3 by 3 square. Each mark should be one inch from its neighboring marks, and the outer marks of the square will be 1/2 inch from the outer edges of the cross or the center square of the cross.
