The magnetic fishing pole game is a good indoor activity, for school or home. It can also be used for fund raising event games or scouts. This is not a complicated project to put together. The most creative part of the project is creating the fish out of foam or cardboard, but they are very basic shapes, nothing complex. Kids can get involved and make their own fish and other items to be caught in the fishing game. Cut a piece of strong string about 3- to 5-feet long. Put glue on the piece of doweling, about 1 inch from the end. Put it all the way around the doweling about ½-inch wide. Make it fairly thick.
