How Do You Make A Magic The Gathering Madness Deck?
In a game that is ruled by who has the most land, Madness allows a player to run a decent Magic deck on less than five land consistently. With the addition of Spellshapers to move things along, one card discarded can lead to two or three different effects happening at once. Gather your Spellshapers. Spellshapers are how you are going to get most of your Madness spells into play. For this deck, you’ll want to search both black and green for your spellshaper abilities. It doesn’t hurt to have a land search spellshaper handy. Add some Madness. Before Madness came into play, I disliked Spellshapers. Now that I’ve discovered Madness, I don’t know if I can go back. Add some additional creatures. Find yourself a creature or two who forces you to discard a card. For instance, a Deep Cavern Imp or a Trespasser il-Vec. The more abilities your creatures have the better for you.
