How Do You Make A Luxurious Eye Mask?
An eye mask can be a very welcomed gift for someone that works nights, is a weary frequent flier or even for yourself. You can create this relaxing mask very simply and without spending a lot of money. A simple 18-by-6-inch piece of satin can be enough to make a beautiful, relaxing eye mask. Draw a pattern out of paper. Adjust a compass for a 4 inch diameter or find a glass or jar that has a mouth the same size to make the eye mask. If the glass is slightly smaller the results will be just as good. Create 2 circles with the top edges of the circles touching the top of the paper and the interior sides of the circles just touching one another. Erase all lines above the interior meeting point of the circle. Create another pattern for a 1-by-20-inch rectangle. Cut the patterns out. Begin cutting downward at the outside slope of the circle, go all the way around and end at the outside top of the other circle. Don’t cut out the area at the top.
