How Do You Make A Loire Lemonade?
Loire lemonade cocktails are simple, easy-to-make drinks that are perfect for outdoor picnics or parties. You can even make large batches of Loire lemonade cocktails and put them on plenty of ice so that guests can serve themselves. Named after the area of France where this drink was invented, Loire lemonade is a wine-based cocktail that is destined to become a classic. This recipe makes eight Loire lemonades, but you can alter the proportions presented here as needed. Fill a cocktail shaker half-full with crushed ice. Add the lemon juice, simple syrup and vodka. Cover the cocktail shaker with the supplied top and shake vigorously for 20 to 25 seconds. Put 1/4 cup of crushed ice into eight wine glasses. Strain the mixture evenly into the wine glasses and divide the Sancerre wine between them. Stir gently and garnish each glass with a lemon wedge. Serve immediately before the ice melts.
