How Do You Make A Lace Valentine Card From Paper?

0

This Valentine’s Day help your youngster make his or her own lacy Valentine’s Day Card by using a piece of white paper. If they can fold paper, and use a scissors, they can do this simple craft project. Begin with a piece of white typing paper. Turn horizontally, so that the width is greater than the height. Fold the paper in half, as if you were creating a greeting card. Draw a half heart, with the half along the spine of the folded paper. Fold the paper like an accordion. Cut little shapes along the edges of the fold. Be careful not to cut through the entire strip, confine the cuts to the two edges. Open the paper, and see that the cut shapes are symmetrical. Fold in half again. Cut along the pencil mark. Open the heart. Iron out the folds if necessary. Paste onto a piece of red construction paper that has been folded in half to create a card.
