How do you make a Kite with 1 sheet of Tissue Paper & straws?

You want to mimic a “fighting” kite style. Cut a Tissue 2 inches over the size you want cut a triangle with a scallop or bird tailed bottom edge. Then place a straw on each side of the triangle so they touch on the top then place a line of glue and wrap the tissue edge over the straws. Finally you will need to cut the edge of a straw fit to be a “crossbar” (like an Icee Straw Spoon) and glue 1/3 the way down the triangle. Let dry then using light kite thread and tie to the cross bar. I would keep the string below 5 yards since tissue is fragile and can easily tear in the wind but these will fly with very little breeze. Hope this is clear enough. Good Luck!
