Making a tissue-paper lei is an inexpensive craft project that can be done in less than an hour. You can teach your children about the Hawaiian culture and allow them to display what they learned through a simple craft project. This particular project will create a Hawaiian lei that your child can wear as a headband. Measure the child’s head. The lei will need to fit comfortably, but you do not want it to be loose and fall in his eyes. Add a couple of inches to the measurement.
