How Do You Make A Jeopardy Board For A Classroom?
A Jeopardy board can be a great classroom tool. You can design a game like the Jeopardy television show and use the game to teach new concepts or review for a test. Using games in the classroom makes learning and reviewing more interesting for your students. You can make a Jeopardy board by using a few basic supplies. Laminate a poster board. Cut sheets of different colored construction paper in half. Turn the poster horizontally and leave the top portion open for writing category titles. Glue three sides of each construction paper half to the poster board so that the paper halves form pockets large enough to hold index cards. Arrange these pockets in five columns with five rows each for the standard Jeopardy format, or in another format to suit your classroom needs. Use regular markers to write monetary values or point values on the pockets. Use a dry-erase marker to write a category over each column.
