Jason Voorhees is the name of the hockey mask-wearing serial killer in the classic horror film series. “Friday The 13th.” His infamous mask may seem like an average white hockey mask at a glance, but if you are trying to put together a Jason costume, the mask will need adjustments to look genuine. A clean, plain white hockey mask could completely ruin the costume. Making the mask more authentic yourself can be done quickly and is also inexpensive. Rub the surface of a plain white plastic hockey mask with some sandpaper to create texture. Load a power drill with an eight-inch drill bit and create a series of holes around the mask. There should be a square-shaped formation on the forehead of the mask that includes three holes on both the left and right sides of the mask. There also should also be two holes that go diagonally downward from the top corners of the existing holes below the mouth.
